No one ever wants to think about it, and defiantly never want to do it. But we have to face it, there are thousands of dogs put in shelters every day. Thank goodness that breeds such as the corgi have rescue groups and breeders who will accept them or take them back. What about the less fortunate dog parents out there who don't have a choice?

For them we can thank a little 12 year old girl from Bend, Oregon. Mimi Ausland is the genius little mind behind freekibble.com. Just like its counterpart freerice.com freekibble donates 20 pieces of kibble for each person who visits the site and takes its "Bow Wow Trivia." The best part about it? It is not just a one time thing! You can visit the site and take the quiz every day!

You're welcome. I like to think that the more people who know about it the more food gets donated. The Humane Societies shouldn't suffer because the economy is bad. I love that they are non profit, but they need help too.
