| Meetup.Com Info10:00 AM Fort De Soto Park has a very large Paw Playground along with an off-leash beach area. If your dog loves to swim this is the place to do it. The Paw Playground does have a very nice rinse off deck where you can rinse the sand out if they get too dirty. We will be in the Small Dog Paw Playground. PDF MapGoogle Map Location (Get Driving Directions too from this page)Paw Playground Virtual TourThere is a toll to get into the park but it is less than $1.00. Once inside follow the signs to the Paw Playground. You'll take a right at the huge American flag and see the signs to the parking lot next to the playground. Hope to see you there! There are lots of picnic tables available if you want to bring a picnic lunch and eat while you're at the park. P.S. - Bring a hat and sunscreen! |

| I am so looking forward to this - I can't wait to see how Basil reacts to the beach and waves. |

| I don't know if I can make this one. I hope to, but I would not want to go to the beach without Banzai. September 6th is cutting it close. Banzai should have all his shots that week, or the week after. I'm not sure. I should have confirmation on the 14th of this month to see if we can go.
We would definitely be good for October. _________________ I count Corgis in my sleep

No problem I know most vets don't recommend taking puppies to doggy playgrounds until they are done with their entire round of puppy vaccinations (around 4-5 months of age). I just went through it with Basil so I completely understand! Better to be safe than sorry. |

| I'll probably bring Waylo out to this. I've been looking for a good reason to get him back out to the beach. |

| We will be at this meet up! Haven't been to Ft. De Soto yet, but have had Jersey to the beach in Ft. Myers and she loved it. Look forward to see you all on the 6th. |

| Bernie is definitely going... Mickey hurt his leg this week and is really limping around. He seems to be doing a little better (he's for sure going to the vet if not better by the end of the week) but he might not be up for all of the activity. He'll be a "wait and see". He really loves the beach so I'm hoping that he'll be up for it. It's hard taking one and not the other. |
